The three (3) accessory drive belts, AC, Alt, and PS, were replaced two months ago. Each was tightened using the FSM method of measuring belt deflection under a measured tension pressure between two specified pulleys/tensioners. Recently on cold start up one belt began to squeal. Each has been re-checked, but they all appear to be tighten to spec. Notwithstanding the recheck, one needs to be further tightened. My logic would be to first tighten the belt turning the most accessory load, e.g., the one with the most stress on it. Based on the accessory load of each belt, which one should I tighten first? Or am I missing a simple diagnostic here?
